Ho Chi Minh City to teach fine art using Danish methods

classroom-488375_1280The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has recently issued a dispatch to guide elementary schools across the city to implement the Danish method of teaching fine art.

According to the dispatch, teachers are responsible for researching the current fine art curricula and flexibly applying the Danish method to their teaching program.

Specifically, teachers will organize the lessons so that the ending of one lesson is the beginning of the next lesson; develop students’ ability to study mathematics, music, languages, etc. while learning fine art; create chances for students to learn practical lessons; and fulfill other tasks.

Schools are also expected to conclude and report the results of the implementation of the new method to the Department of Education and Training by the end of this school year.
