HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and HM Queen Silvia will arrive for a State Visit to Thailand on 25 February 2003.
According to the current plans for the visit, Their Majesties King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia will on their day of arrival be accommodated at the Boromabiman Mansion in the compound of the Grand Palace. In the evening, Their Majesties will be the guests of honour at a State Banquet hosted by Their Majesties King Bumibol and Queen Sirikit
A high level business delegation from Sweden will join the State Visit. Among the festivities planned is a luncheon hosted by Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in honour of HM Carl XVI Gustaf. Four members of the Chamber on 26 October 2002 won free tickets to this luncheon in a lucky draw among participants in a 1970’s Theme Party arranged by the Chamber at Montien Hotel.
