Philipino communists in Scandinavia

A representative of the Philippines Ministry of Foreign Affairs will meet the Foreign Ministers and high juristic officials of Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France and Spain during a trip between 14 and 21 October.
The purpose of this mission is to convince the EU governments to keep an eye on members of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) that live in Europe and freeze any financial assets they might have. The Party is estimated to have 10,000 members. It was founed about 30 years ago and remains a security threat in the Philippines.
