Norwegians got Offshore Friday in Singapore

“It was a wonderful trip. The weather was good except from one shower at the beginning,” says Silvia Talseth from the Embassy in Singapore.
155 guests joined the annual boat trip arranged by The Norwegian Embassy together with The Norwegian Business Association Singapore.
The guests were welcomed by H. E. Norwegian Ambassador to Singapore Mr. Nygaard.
The ship, an old Chinese, had three decks where the guests could enjoy the view from the top and enjoy a drink. And the music was also Chinese.
“It is the first event this autumn set up by the embassy in a joined effort with the Norwegian board. We went on to the nearest Island with “The Flying Chinese,” continues Silvia. And as for the other years this years trip was also only for VIPs.
“No other Scandinavians, only Norwegians attended the boat,” Silvia Talseth tells with laughter.
The Norwegians knew how to party. There was of course beer and wine which was accompanied by a delicious BBQ.
And, off the record, many continued the party when they returned onshore at 23.00 hours after three hours of relaxing, and informal conversation.
“A lot of newly arrived Norwegians in Singapore attended, so it was a good opportunity, not only for networking, but also just to get people to know,” tells Silvia with a clear address not to miss next year’s trip.
