Peter Gade Released from the Hospital

Peter Gade was supposed to play his first match at the Super Series badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, yet his poor condition following his heavy migraine on the flight to Malaysia may hinder him.
”It has not been ruled out yet, but it is very unlikely that he will play now. Peter is still very shocked, even though he feels a lot better today than he did in the previous days,” states Claus Rasmussen, who is a communication officer at Denmark’s National Badminton Association.
The Danish star player is currently resting in his hotel room, while he and national coach Steen Pedersen are considering what to do.
”Peter is nervous that he might provoke another reaction by playing already Wednesday. They are also taking into consideration whether or not he will be ready for the tournament in Korea next week or if he should go home immediately,” says Claus Rasmussen.
The Super Series in Kuala Lumpur begins Tuesday.
