Applause For Retiring DTCC Board Members

Jorgen Ib Hedes was given a long applause for his many years of devoted work as a Member of the Board of the Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce when his decision to retire was announced by President Leo Alexandersen at the DTCC Annual General Meeting on Thursday. Jorgen Ib Hedes had informed him of his decision to step down from the board of directors due to his current health situation, he explained. Jorgen Ib Hedes was not himself present to receive the applause of the members as he was currently still in Denmark.
“Jorgen has been a very active member of the board for seven years. He was elected in March 2000 and has since worked hard especially as Chairman of our media committed,” Leo Alexandersen said.
Jorgen Ib Hedes’ position as chairman of the media committe will now likely be taken over by Allan Jensen, who has been a member of the media committee for a number of years.
Khun Santhapat Periera, who likewise resigned from the board, was also applauded by the members. Khun Santhapat had served for three terms on the Board and was on the latest board Vice President and Legal Advisor.
Santhapat Periera is likely to be succeeded in the position as Legal Advisor by Kamthorn Ounhirunskul, who is not only likewise a lawyer but also a former Vice President of the Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce.
