A Jazzy Networking Evening

The first networking evening of the year saw many new and old faces turning up. Doc Houlind & his New Orleans All Stars of Denmark Band was last minute announced to play
Doc Houlind & his New Orleans All Stars were finishing off their Thailand tour on Thursday 16 January after having played at various venues for nearly a week, mostly in Bangkok. The tour started at Danish owned Check-in 99 to continue at the Stable Lodge on Saturday 11 January, both very successful events with many Danes as well as Thais jazzing to the infectious tunes.
Sunday Mr. Arne Christensen of Carnitech had secured the band for a private and personal celebration at the Londoner Brew House in Sukhumvit… and normal Sunday guests seemed to enjoy themselves too.
Before finishing off their tour at the Admiral’s Pub & Restaurant at the Chamber’s monthly networking evening, Doc Houlind & his New Orleans All Stars also managed to play for an audience in Pattaya at the recently opened Boat House owned by Dane Mr. Ib Ottesen. The band also managed to fit in a Jam Session with local band members at Check-in 99 before the tour ended.
The appearance at the Admiral’s was a last minute deal which Mr. Stig Vagt-Andersen and Mr. Bent Laasholdt of Ben Adisti Co. Ltd. managed to secure in agreement with their old friend Mr. Doc Houlind whom they have brought to Thailand on tours previous years.
