Dancham plans for a big deficit in 2017

Dancham – Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce – plans in 2017 to dig deep into its cash assets, where over 3 mill. Thai Baht have been accumulated over the years, and spend it on improving its office facilities and other benefits for the members. The budget which the members approved at the Annual General Meeting on 23 March 2017 has a deficit of 600,000 THB.

Michael Andersen, Dancham’s recently appointed Secretary General, explained to the members the range of improvements, that the money would be spent on. He expects the deficit to level out in 2018 so that the Chamber as of 2019 will start being profitable again.
