Danish Church Council established in Bangkok

A Church Council for the Danish Church in Thailand was on Wednesday 19 April 2017 established at a meeting at the Royal Danish Embassy. With this Church Council in place, the Danish Church Abroad in Denmark will now go ahead and announce the opening of the position as priest at the church in Bangkok.

The meeting at the Royal Danish Embassy was chaired by Mr. Bjarne Tvilde – part time resident of Thailand and also board member of DSUK – Danish Church Abroad. The participants at the meeting unanimously elected Mr. Bjarne Tvilde as Chairman of the Church Council.

The Church Council further consists of Mr. Uffe Wolffhechel – Danish Ambassador to Thailand and Cambodia, Mrs. Marianne Edelmann-Krüger – representative for Danes World Wide, Camilla Møller Jørgensen – board member of Danish Women’s Network, Mr. Michael Andersen – Secretary General of Thai-Danish Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Gregers Moller – Scand-Media Corporation Ltd.
