Finnish and Chinese high school students celebrate cooperation

Students from Lauttasaaren High School and Beijing No. 166 High School visited the Finnish Ambassador’s Residency in Beijing on Monday 22 May 2017.

The visit celebrated not only the active cooperation between the visiting schools, but also the open doors of the EU and the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence.

After the Ambassador’s greetings, guests were given an overview of the co-operation between Finland and China, after which the students entered the stage.

The pupils of Lauttasaaren High School gave a wonderful overview of Finland’s culture, nature, economy and political system. Students from Beijing presented their skills among others, dance and various musical instruments.

With a pause in the rain falling down, the students were able to admire the students got to admire the full blossoming of the resident gardens, where they also enjoyed refreshments and snacks.
