Asian Artist in Danish Art Fair

Artist from China, Hong Kong and Singapore are among the exhibiting artists at The Chart Art Fair 2017 that will be taking place at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from September 1, 2017.

The Chart Art Fair has established itself as the leading Nordic contemporary art fair building on the Nordic tradition of collaboration and presenting the invited galleries in unison within the historic halls of Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. Since its inception in 2013, CHART has established itself as the international platform for contemporary art in the region. The selection and curation is realised by the five founding galleries based in Copenhagen: Galleri Susanne Ottesen, Galleri Bo Bjerggaard, V1 Gallery, Andersen’s Contemporary and David Risley Gallery. The art fair aims to challenge the boundaries and experience of a traditional art fair. It focuses on to further develop the impact and role of a Nordic art event on the international art and cultural scene.

The 2016 CHART witnessed a gathering of over 18,000 people, making it the most popular edition yet. While the attendance of collectors and institutions from the Nordic region was once again strong, the presence of new collectors attending the fair for the first time from territories including China, Ecuador, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, UK and USA reinforced CHART as the leading contemporary art fair in the Nordic region with strong international appeal.

The fair will be held through September 3, 2017, at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Kongens Nytorv 1, 1050 Copenhagen, Denmark.
