On 30 August and 1 September 2016, Thai Ambassador to Norway, Jukr Boon-Long, along with ASEAN Ambassador Stig Ingemar Traavik paid a visit to Stavanger in Norway, as the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO) had organised the “ASEAN Road Show to Stavanger”.
In this occasion, the ACO had very fruitful discussion with key local agencies and people, including the Mayor of Stavanger, the County Governor of Rogaland, the Deputy Rector of Stavanger University and a representative from the Chamber of Commerce of Stavanger.
The purpose of this event was to raise awareness of ASEAN Community and further promote and enhance investment and trade for the 10 member countries of ASEAN to build strategic economic relationship and cultural cooperation between Norway and ASEAN for both public and private sectors as well as academic researchers.
