Beer tasting and other Dancham event in 2015

Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce has lined up its first activities for the first quarter of 2015.

The first event is a Beer Tasting Networking Event at Mikkeller Bangkok – a perfect combination between business networking and beer experiment! It is scheduled for Thursday 15 January at 18.30.

While the beer is distinctly Danish, the participants are likely to be a broader mix of European nationalities, because DTCC has invited also all the members of the EABC to join the event.

Mikkeller is a microbrewery founded in 2006 in Copenhagen, Denmark which has now launched Thailand’s first craft beer bar with 30 rotating taps (plus another 4 garden taps) and an amazing line-up of bottles.

Venue: Mikkeller Bar(Ekkamai Soi 10)
Price: 600 Baht for members and 800 Baht for non-members

The price for beer tasting including: 4 Glasses of special home-brewed beer from Mikkeller Bar and free-flow of finger food to go along with the beer.

The next events is a Breakfast Seminar together with the Swedes, Norwegians and the Finns about the “Business Challenges and Opportunities in Thailand 2015 – 2017”. This takes place at Grand Millennium Sukhumvit Hotel on Wednesday, 21 January 2015 from 7.30-9.00 am. The speaker this morning is Dr.Kongkiti Phusavet, Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.

This breakfast seminar will give an in-depth information about the political and financial development over the next 2 years with a focus of the challenges and opportunities among Scandinavian companies in Thailand.

Furthermore, Dr.Kongkiti will also highlight current public procurement reforms which will take place for AEC within the context of Government Procurement Agreement.

In February, the DTCC offers an MBA Networking Event in collaboration with Ivy League university MBA alumni in Thailand. The event takes place on Thursday, 4 February 2015 at 18:30-20:30. The idea is to give the Dancham members the opportunity to access the professional international network of Ivy League university MBA alumni – and give the MBA alumni members the opportunity to build contacts outside their own alumni group and network with the members of DanCham.

Finally, en event has been scheduled where the details are still a bit sketchy. It will take place on Friday 27 March 2015 and the title is “DTCC Breakfast Seminar on ‘Political Situation and the Opportunities for Danish companies in Myanmar’, but you will have to come back later for more details.
