Denmark’s Ambassador H.E. Dorte Bech Vizard met with Singapore Prime Minister’s Office Minister Mr Chan Chun Sing in January 2017.
“It was a good opportunity to discuss mutual challenges of the future economies of Denmark and Singapore,” writes the Danish embassy.
“Singapore and Denmark established diplomatic relations back in 1965. For more than 50 years, we have steadfastly deepened our ties. Both Singapore and Denmark are leading maritime nations, but beyond strong collaboration on this front, we also enjoy partnership in other areas such as sustainability solutions. There is much to share with and learn from each other. I had a good exchange of views with H.E. Dorte Bech Vizard, who assumed her role as Ambassador of Denmark to Singapore in September last year. We discussed how our two countries are adjusting to the new economy and to better prepare our workforces to be future ready,” commented Mr Chan Chun Sing.
