Danish Business Breakfast discussed recent reforms

The Royal Danish Embassy in Jakarta hosted on 3 August 2017 a Business Breakfast in the Danish Residence, reports the embassy on its Facebook page.

Focus of the event was on discussing the Indonesian Governments’ recent business reforms. As the reforms are meant to ease and improve the trade terms for foreign companies, a variety of representatives from Danish companies were invited to attend the event to create an informal platform for knowledge sharing among the attendees. Present as key note speakers were the chairman of the Indonesian Investment Body (BKPM), Pak Thomas Lembong, and the vice chair of KADIN, Ibu Shinta Kamdani.

The facebook posting adds, that for the Embassy’s new Head of Trade, Therese, the meeting was also an opportunity for her to meet the Danish business partners and get acquainted with their work and interests. For Ambassador Casper who soon will take up a new position in Silicon Valley, the event was also an opportunity to thank the attendees for their longstanding cooperation while encouraging continued partnership in the future.
