A vice president of the National Reform Council has extended an official welcome to the Ambassador of Denmark.
NRC’s first vice president Borwornsak Uwanno, who is also the chairman of the Constitutional Drafting Committee, yesterday met with Mr. Mikael Hemniti Winther, the Ambassador of Denmark to Thailand, who paid a courtesy visit to the Parliament on January 15.
During the visit, Mr. Hemniti Winther inquired about the way the NRC and the CDC have been operating in accordance with the road maps set by the National Council for Peace and Order.
Mr. Borwornsak, in response, assured that everything has been in line with the rule of law while explaining the context of the Thai society and its political culture, which are different from that in Europe.
He went on to confirm the Danish Ambassador that the intent of the charter drafting process is to achieve equality and to get rid of all conflicts in the country.
