On 3 March 50 companies within Vietnam and Denmark business relations attended a networking meeting in Ho Chi Minh City with executive director from Tommy Thomsen from the Danish Investment Fund (IFU), along with Danish Ambassador Charlotte Laursen.
IFD shared the example of best use of the technology in Ethiopia for project investment in the fields of renewable energy, biomass and food.
IFU’s Thomsen presented the fund’s experience with and means of assisting companies in the South Asia region as well as a number of initiatives aiming at offering stronger support to companies doing business in Vietnam.
IFU has decided to focus on Vietnam as a country of importance for investing in. The meeting enabled setting up a new network as well as establishing more cooperation relationships between companies and IFU.
