Denmark is stepping up its support to Myanmar’s development with a new country programme for 2016-2020. The Denmark-Myanmar programme will among other things support the Myanmar peace process and build up capacity on human rights in the justice system. Furthermore, it will ensure that more children can access quality basic education, introduce community co-management of fisheries resources, and promote growth and jobs in small and medium-sized interprises.
