The new factory and warehouse is an expansion of Ecolean’s current production facilities in TEDA (the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area). The new facilities in China are part of a fifty million euro investment scheme that also includes a new factory and increased production capacity at Ecolean’s headquarters in Helsingborg, Sweden.

“China is one of the most important growth markets for Ecolean, and this major investment underlines our long-term dedication to the markets in Asia. I’m very pleased that we will nearly triple our production capacity in China,” says Peter L Nilsson, CEO of Ecolean.

The newly opened production facilities occupy a 4,900 square meter site in TEDA near Beijing, which is an area with excellent infrastructure and easy access to a skilled workforce. In addition to the new factory and warehouse, Ecolean has also added a new aseptic lab and training facilities.
