To follow up on Sweden’s contribution to ActionAid’s implementation of the ‘Empowering People for Change in Myanmar’ program.

Observations showed how the communities, especially the women and youth, were empowered by the program, and as such hopefully contributes to building a foundation and creating powerful drivers of change in Myanmar.

The visit also included a visit to “One Stop Shop”, which is improving public service delivery and ensures the needs of the population in the community are met.

“To have this established good partnership with ActionAid and One Stop Shop (OSS) is very valuable and this trip have contributed to progress by, among other things, raising awareness of the OSS in the community as well as what the ActionAid program is doing,” writes Embassy of Sweden Section Office in Yangon.
