Norwegian feed producer Ewos boosted its profit and revenue in the first half of the year, driven by strong growth in Norway, alongside improvements in Vietnam, Chile and Canada.
Also in the period, the private equity-owned company — which is in talks to possibly acquire Nova Austral in Chile — significantly boosted its market share in Vietnam, said Ewos in its first half year earnings report.
The growth in Vietnam means the latter is now as big as Canada for Ewos, with each region accounting for 5% of Ewos’ sales volumes.
