Members, Swedish friends and the public are warmly welcome to what promises to be a vibrant party extravaganza Swedish style on Saturday 6th of June 2015. Featuring no other than the Swedish stand-up comedian David Batra as the evening’s the event expect to draw a crowd from far and near in Thailand.

This national day dinner party is also the launch event for the Chamber’s new concept ‘Swedish Connection’, Vol. 01 150606 (which will bring Swedish art, entertainment, fashion, design and innovations to Thailand in the form of events onwards!)

After the evening’s Scandinavian-inspired, 4-course menu a disco party will commence with the Swedish DJs Karl Andy, Deep Joaquin entertaining with grooves, primarily Disco remakes, Nu-Disco and Swedish Classics!

And throughout the night Rocket Coffeebar’s Swedish bartenders will serve summery cocktails/drinks!

The inaugural ‘Swedish Connection’ celebrates the Swedish/Scandinavian summer season, as ‘One (Unforgettable) Summer Night in Bangkok’, to which people keen on a really vibrant party, and curious on, or fond of ‘Swedishness’, are welcome! Suitably the dress code for the occasion is ‘early summer’ (white, floral etc.)

The organiser highlights the event’s young vibe and informal style, though celebrating Sweden’s National Day – in style.

The party committee informed ScandAsia that the Chamber has really gone the extra mile in ensuring that this celebration will appeal also to the younger generations (knowing that there are many young Swedes and other Northerners studying or working in Bangkok these days).

Tickets are for sale online and at point of sale venues: TSCC office, Rembrandt Hotel and Rocket Coffeebar.

The organiser points out that the tickets are limited. Those who book a ticket (priced at 1,800 baht) by 24 May get to join a lucky draw with attractive prices Entrance, dinner and welcome drink incl. in the price.
