Finland responds to the growing demand from the Chinese visitors to visit Finland by opening visa application centers in Beijing and in Shanghai. The two centers will enable faster and more comprehensive services for the Chinese tourists, business travelers and others whose main destination is Finland.
The visa centers provide services such as on-site photographing, internet and most importantly, courier delivery across China once the visa has been issued. This is highly beneficial to the customers as they can avoid double-trips or inconvenient third-party pick up from the Embassy or the Consulate General.
Helsinki is a major transportation hub between Asia and Europe. Chinese visitors planning to continue their trip to other Nordic countries, the Baltic States, elsewhere in Europe or to Russia have a wide transportation network either by air, land or sea.
