Ambassador of Finland, Ms Päivi Hiltunen-Toivio planted a ‘Spruce of the Future’ with the Governor of Jakarta, Mr Basuki Tjahaja Purnama in Taman Menteng, Jakarta, on 5 May. The Spruce of Future is a national tree planting campaign in Finland and official part of celebrations of 100th Anniversary of Independence of Finland.
Deputy Governor for Spatial and Environment Mr.Oswar Mungkasa, Mayor of Central Jakarta Mr. Mangara Pardede and Head of Department of Forestry Mr. Djafar Muchlisin were also present in the event. During his speech Governor, Pak Basuki talked about importance of the education.
