Among the things Paula Parviainen wrote about the ceremony on The Embassy of Finland’s website was:

“President Tan thanked the Finnish people for long-term cooperation with Singapore. He was well acquainted with educational expertise and innovation ability, and said that over the years, numerous Singaporean delegations have been exploring Finland, and particularly those aspects of society, in which Singapore still wants to learn. I told them that, among other things, we have a lot of increasing cooperation with Singapore in the field of health care and health technology, and we look forward to the Minister of Health coming to visit the companies.”
