On 3 December the 1st advent was celebrated at the beautifully decorated Swedish Ambassador’s Residence in Bangkok, with 150 guests in attendance. Many old Bangkok faces and a lot of new attendees were among them.
Lars Rüderstad held a short worship service and the traditional hymns were sung, H.E. Ambassador Staffan Herrström welcomed, while his wife Karin Herrström lit the first Advent light. A big Lucia process with 40 children of all ages was led by Simone Westergård and Katarina Svensson, who had done an excellent job.
The coffee served with homemade bread by chef Andreas was great.
