The new Norway Visa Application Centre opened in Cebu on 7 May 2015, Thursday.
The Norway Visa Application Centre in Cebu, in addition to Manila, is ready to accept visa applications to Norway, Estonia, Finland, Iceland and Sweden. The center in Cebu is located at:

The Embassy of Norway, Philippines informs: ”Please be advised that visa applicants can walk in/go directly to the Centre in Cebu and submit their application after they have registered their application in the Application Portal. There is no need to book for an appointment before applicants can proceed. Take note that this arrangement is only applicable in the Cebu centre. Applicants in Manila still need to book for an appointment.
”If applicants have booked an appointment with the Centre in Manila but wish to submit in Cebu, they may do so. We greatly appreciate if the applicants can enter into the Application Portal to remove their scheduled booking at VFS Global in Manila.”
Applicants from Cebu and provinces in surrounding areas will benefit from the new centre as they no longer need to travel to Manila. They can now submit their visa applications and take the preliminary steps in the application process in the new center. It is important to take note that the centre will only accept applications on behalf of the Embassy. Decision in each visa case is still made by the Embassy.
The Norwegian Embassy outsourced the receipt of visa applications to VFS Global and opened the Norway Visa Application Centre in Manila on 1 February 2015. The opening of the centers is a response to the continuing increase in the number of visa applications filed at the Embassy. VFS Global has a larger capacity to receive more applications and can extend longer service hours to accept applicants.
