A Nordic chamber joint event took place in Beijing on 15 November that focused on what foreign companies need to know after 19th Communist Party Congress.
More than 35 people from Nordic companies joined this meeting. The speaker Mr Andrew Polk gave an overview of the outcomes from the 19th Communist Party Congress with a specific focus on economic policies and the business environment in China, including inbound and outbound investment climates, Belt and Road Initiative enshrined in the Party constitution, Key points of Xi’s economic agenda, etc. The event gave great insights for foreign companies to understand what the Congress was all about and to prepare their business for the future political reality in China.
