Danish, Danish, and Danish. Everything is Danish at the Danish Kindergarten Mariehønen in Singapore:
“We only speak Danish, the songs we sing are Danish, and the games we play are Danish,” says Jette Lund, the founder and head of the kindergarten.
The children have a special songbook, and they sing for 20 minutes everyday. They do gymnastics and fitness training. And often they have special themes like “Living healthy” or “Animals at the zoo,” but most of the time it is free play, something you'll never see in a Singaporean kindergarten according to Jette Lund.
