If you are already doing business in the Asean region and just want to keep updated on the latest developments, or if you are planning to set up or expand your business to one or several of these countries, this event will be of interest for you. Additionally, you might benefit from the perspectives on regional cooperation from Norway’s Ambassador to the Asean – a new position in the Foreign Service of Norway, writes NBAS (Norwegian Business Association Singapore), the co-organiser together with the Royal Embassy of Norway in Singapore.

Southeast Asia is a global growth engine, which constitutes an important market for Norwegian companies. Especially within the maritime industry and the oil and gas sector, Norwegian companies hold a longstanding and strong position in the region. The increased interest from companies from other sectors, including various high tech areas, offer a welcomed opportunity to expand and diversify the Norwegian business cluster in the region.

The Norwegian Ambassador to Singapore, Ms Anita Nergaard will host the event at her Residence. The ambassadors and the Innovation Norway representatives will share their insights on the political situation in their respective countries, and on the opportunities and challenges for Norwegian companies in these markets. There will be short presentations from all the ambassadors and ample time for networking afterwards.
