Special ceremony at the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm

On Sunday 7 August 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm held a ceremony on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12 August 2016 at the embassy.

At the ceremony, H.E. Mr. Kiattikhun Chartprasert, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, and his spouse, along with the Embassy’s officials and families, officials of Team Thailand and Embassy’s staffs, together with over 70 Thai people and their families all attended.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Chartprasert led the participants in paying tribute to Her Majesty the Queen followed by singing the Royal Anthem and signing the book to give their blessings.

Later, the Embassy organized the special lecture on Royal Projects and Sufficiency Economy by inviting Professor Geoffrey Longfellow, Director of Special Projects, Sustainable Development Foundation as a speaker. On this occasion, Professor Geoffrey shared his experience in his serve for Her Majesty the Queen. As a Thai citizen, he expressed his great pride as he followed in the Royal Foot Steps of Her Majesty the Queen’s Royal Projects and worked for the Thai people. He told the participants about a number of projects initiated by Her Majesty the Queen that had helped people who live in the remote areas to have a better life. This led to the participants having a better understanding on the Royal Projects and Sufficiency Economy.
