Suit up, fine dining and international entertainment at Danish Ball 2016!
This year’s Danish Ball will be held on 4 June 2016 at the Chatrium Riverside Hotel Bangkok overlooking Chao Praya River. The event is arranged by Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce and The Danish Women’s Network Thailand, where people from the Danish network and expat community are invited to this exceptional evening. It will be a unique chance to suit up in black tie and evening dress enjoying a 4 course gourmet gala dinner, international entertain-ment, dance all night and hotdogs for midnight snack.
Guests will be able to enjoy excellent food, free flow beer and wine and will be entertained by Michael Carøe (DK), live music performed by Rhythm Nation (TH) and lastly DJ Ben Goldman (USA) who will invite guests to the dance floor to show their best moves.
This year the Danish Ball will also host a charity lucky draw with various prizes, including a return-trip to Denmark donated by Emirates. The total income will go directly to the orphanage ‘The children of the forest’ in Thailand. ‘The Children of the forest’ is located in an area 19 km from the Thai-Myanmar border in Sangkhlaburi, where stateless, orphaned children are living a dangerous life in poverty. The organisation provides protection, education and health care to the orphaned children. The charity has been supported by the Danish Women’s Network for years and the developments are closely monitored – and help is needed.
