Sweden’s Rural Affairs Minister in Hong Kong and Macau

Sweden’s Minister for Rural Affairs Mr. Sven-Erik Bucht visited Hong Kong and Macao 22 – 24 November on a promotion visit.

In Macao the Minister met with Swedish chefs and Swedish exchange students. The Minister participated at the launch of Chapters of Ampersand, a Swedish cognac and glass art.

The Minister continued to Hong Kong where he and a Swedish Business delegation participated in seminars and events arranged by the Swedish Consulate General, Business Sweden and The Swedish Chamber of Commerce.

The Minister also visited The Vocational Training Council in Hong Kong which is one of the world leading culinary institutes. On the visit the Minister met with his counterpart in Hong Kong, Dr. Ko Wing-man to discuss, food, health and Swedish food export.

Chapters-Ampersand-launchThe Swedish Consulate General arranged a networking dinner and served the guests a Swedish ‘Smörgåsbord’, which was a much-appreciated event.
