The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China has announced the dates for the annual chamber tradition by inviting to the Crayfish Party in both Beijing and Shanghai.
All guests are welcome and to bring your friends, family and colleagues to the popular Swedish tradition.
During late summertime, Swedes decorate their tables in the garden, invite their friends and family to celebrate the latest crayfish harvest. The party includes crayfish hats, silly songs, and lots and lots of crayfish!
In Shanghai the Crayfish party will in 2016 be held at Käfer by The Binjiang One on Friday 9 September.
“With the big food buffet and crazy amounts of crayfish, snaps and free-flow of drinks throughout the evening, it will be just like you were zapped back to Sweden. However, with the DJ providing the right tunes and the entertainers on stage to deliver good vibes, this will sure remind you where we are – in the middle of Shanghai with the iconic view of the Bund. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes, your friends (or come along and meet new ones), a big smile and help us make this a night to remember!”
On the following day, Saturday 10 September, one continue to get more crayfish fun in Beijing, where the party bonanza will take place at Royal Garden, Radisson BLU Hotel.
