Swedish State Secretary Ms. Pernilla Baralt, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, visited Kuala Lumpur with a delegation one 4-6 May 2016.
The program included meetings with Ms. Marianne Clark-Hattingh, Representative for UNICEF in Malaysia; Y.Bhg. Dato´ Yasmeen Muhammed Shariff, Vice-Chairperson on the Committee on the Rights of the Child and visits to Sisters In Islam and Dignity for Children in Sentul.
Pernilla Baralt also met with YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Rohani Abdul Karim, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, as well as participated in the Global Child Forum on Southeast Asia on 5 May in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Sweden.
