On 12 January 2017, Mr. Jukr Boon-Long, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, attended the Grand Travel Award 2017 presentation ceremony at Walmans Salonger in Oslo. This year, Thai Airways Norway once again won the award for the “Best Intercontinental Airline With Departure from Norway”. This marks the thirteenth consecutive year in which Thai Airways has acclaimed this prestigious award which shows its commitment and unsurpassed level of services and reputation in the Norwegian Market. At the same time, Tourism Authority of Thailand‘s (TAT) office in Stockholm also won the award for the “Best Tourist Office”.
On 13 January 2017, Ambassador Jukr Boon-Long visited the Thai Pavilion organised by TAT Office, and met with Thai exhibitors in travel industry at the “Reiselivsmessen”, which is the largest travel fair in Norway, organised once or twice a year to promote overseas travel and holidays among Norwegians. This travel fair ran from 13-15 January 2017.
