Triplenine invests in new fishmeal plant in China

Danish fishmeal and oil producer Triplenine is investing into building a new plant in China, reports Business.dk.

The company will invest DKK 105 million into the plant, with another DKK 35m in funding to be provided by the Danish state fund IFU.den_cn_fishmeal

The plant will have a capacity to produce 20,000 metric tons of fishmeal — 1% of China’s demand — and will be located in Shangdong province, with some 60 employees.

Triplenine produces fishmeal and oil used in aquaculture feed — salmon, trout and carp — and in land animal and pet feed.
