Tampines-Boarding-coverUWCSEA offers an exceptional opportunity for both day and boarding students at an internationally-recognised IB World school in a multi-cultural, global hub.

The school provides a challenging, holistic education emphasising academic achievement, service to others, teamwork, environmental stewardship and leadership.

The College’s mission and values are actively integrated into the curriculum. The programme is designed to combine age-appropriate, challenging outdoor experiences with academic rigor and creative opportunities in the personal education of every student. The unique service programme, supported by all students, is an integral part of UWCSEA’s educational ethos.

The educational programme on offer has five key elements, with equal importance placed on each. They are academics, outdoor education, pastoral care, service and ‘curricular activities’ – which includes sports, the arts (drama, music and visual arts) as well as special interests.

UWCSEA enrols students from more than 60 nationalities in the following programmes, designed for children aged 4 to 18:

• IB PYP – Kindergarten 1 – Grade 5
• UWCSEA-designed Middle School programme (IB Learner Profile) – Grades 6 – 8
• (I)GCSE – Grades 9 and 10
• Foundation IB – Grade 10 entry
• IB Diploma – Grade 11 and 12
Project_week_2009Boarding is available on both campuses in Grades 7 to 12 (12 – 18 years).

The East Campus, fully opened in August 2011, is a benchmark in international school design, and a truly world class example of an environmentally sustainable building. The school will enrol around 1,400 students in K1 – Grade 10 from August 2011. This will include a cohort of over 40 boarders from more than a dozen nations around the world in Grades 7 to 10. The two-year IB Diploma programme will commence in August 2012, with day and boarding students welcome to inquire from September 2011 to begin in Grades 7 to 11 in August 2012. Eventually the school will cater to over 2,400 students,
including 120 boarders.

Dover Campus, which opened in 1971, has over 2,900 students from more than 60 nationalities and educates students from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 12 (ages 4 to 18), offering the same educational programmes as East Campus. There are over 180 boarders in Grades 7 to 12.
