Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki wins Wang Qiang 2-0 on Tuesday 6 October in the second round match in China Open 2015.

Caroline Wozniacki is now qualified for the 3rd round in the most comprehensive international tennis event, where she faces the winner of the match between Angelique Kerber and Dominika Cibulkova. According to the Danish tennis player she needs to change her strategy at the tennis court. After her match against Wang Qiang she has found new ways to improve her performance.

“It was a slow start. She (Wang Qiang) started off playing pretty well. But I kind of stood a little too far back behind the baseline and let her be able to play her game,” she assessed.

“Once I stepped it in a little bit and took the ball a little earlier, I felt I was more in control and started to play better.”

She surely did. After she won the first set, Caroline Wozniacki gained more self control on the tennis court according to her competitor.

“The loss in the first set, especially after I had the advantage once, affected my confidence and morale for later games. She played very well, and gave me a lot of pressure all through the match,” says Wang Qiang.

Caroline Wozniacki played the game more aggressive in the end, a style she wants to continue in the 3rd round.
