The first All Chambers’ Young professional Networking Event in Bangkok was a unique networking experience. The event took place in The Lotus Garden of the Centara Grande Central World – the perfect outdoor venue situated 26th floor above bustling Bangkok.
The initiative was good, but the hotel was clearly not geared for an event this size. The participants had to wait in lines for ages to buy drink coupons – and then in new endless lines to change them into drinks. The networking in the lines was mostly non-professional.
Eventually, there was a lucky draw with prizes from a range of generous sponsors. All proceeds will be donated by the contributing Chambers to the Office of Basic Education to support flood affected schools.
