The Swedish Minister for Children and the Elderly Maria Larsson will visit Bangkok from September 30 until October 3, 2012. During her visit she will learn about children’s rights in Thailand and also promote the trade between Sweden and Thailand.
During the stay in Bangkok the minister will have meetings with representatives of the Thai government, UN agencies, the civil society and representatives of Swedish businesses based in Thailand. She will also conduct a field visit to a center for boys.
Ms Larsson will be travelling with a delegation of Swedish companies in the health care sector. After the visit in Bangkok she will be continuing her travel to Vietnam.
