Swedish ambassador Camilla Mellander has recently met with Swedish business representatives in Ho Chi Minh City including IKEA, Atlas Copco, Sapa, Oriflame, Uma, PMA, Guston Molinel, and Trimar.
The aim was to introduce a new Promotion staff at the Embassy, Mr. Mr. Mikael Johansson and a new representative of Swedish Trade Council in Vietnam, Mr. Peter Cederholm and also to share the plan of Sweden’s promotion activities until the end of 2012, which include the seminars on biogas in Hanoi, Thai Binh and Dong Nai from 12-16 November and the visit of the SymbioCity urban transport delegation 6 -7 December.
On this occasion, Ambassador Camilla also visited factories of Guston Molinel producing garment and textile, PMA for furniture, Fine Interior specializing in metal fabrication and Sapa Ben Thanh Aluminum Profiles where she got a better understanding on the business environment as well as the compliance of Corporate Social Responsibility from the Swedish businesses operating in Vietnam.
