Weak local currencies affect Oriflame

The Swedish cosmetics firm Oriflame reports a five percent turnover dip in Asia for the first three quarters 2004 to Euro 7.7 million.
     Turnover in local currencies did however grow by nine percent thanks to a ten percent productivity increase, reports Oriflame.
     Within Asean, the company runs direct sales in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
     Worldwide turnover grew seven percent measured in Euros and after tax profit was Euro 54.8 million.
