On a press conference in Hanoi on March 18th , the Danish Ambassador Peter Lysholt Hansen announced that a huge show will be held in Hanoi on April 2nd to celebrate the 200th birthday of Hans Christian Andersen, the famous Danish fairy tale writer.
The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnamese and Danish performers will perform some of Andersen’s stories in various artistic ways. Vietnamese pop star Thanh Lam is among the well-known list of stars to perform at the event. The sonata “Fairy Tales” will be played for the first time and Vietnamese theatre star Le Khanh will play the main character in a production of the “Ugly Duckling”, the Danish diplomat said.
