Sweden ranks fifth in World Scout Jamboree in Thailand

The 20th World Scout Jamboree in Sattahib, Thailand, set to open on December
28, will have a Swedish participation of 564 scouts. This is the fifth largest number of participants and far more than the participants from any of the other Nordic countries.
The Swedish participants will arrive Thailand mid December.
HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden will participate in the Jamboree as Honorary Chairman of the World Scouting Foundation.
So far, the organisers have received confirmations from 26.079 participants from 78 countries. UK came on top with 1291 scouts.
There will be a full-scale rehearsal of the event’s logistics during 8 and 9 December. One group of Thai scouts will take the train from Don Muang to the purpose built station in Sattahib while another group will take a tour bus from the airport to Sattahib.
