Swedish-Thai ice hockey player to the top

Likit Andersson may become the first Thai to make it into the premier league of Swedish ice hockey, “Elitserien” in Swedish.
Likit, who is negotiating a deal with the classic team Brynas from Gavle, came to Sweden at age six when his mother married a Swedish man. Young Likit soon took a liking to ice hockey and proved to be good as well. He has played for MoDo, been a pro in German clubs Degendorf and Erding, and for the last three years played for Augusta Lynx in the US East Coast Hockey League.
“I am talking to Brynas and hope we reach a deal. I want to play in Sweden and in Elitserien, “says Likit to the daily Gefle Dagblad. http://www.gd.se/Article.jsp?version=18087
