Norwegian bar owner files suit

A Norwegian businessman who is among owners of the bars and shops that were razed to the ground on Sukhumvit Soi 10 filed a complaint with Lumpini police on February 10, saying that he was attacked by dozen of demolition workers, according to The Nation newspaper dated February 11.
     Harald Henschien, 51, owns the beer bar called “Soi 10 Bar” together with his Danish partner Jan Berg. The bar was among bars and shops betweenSukhumvit Soi 8 and 10 that were demolished in the sudden attack by hundredsof rugged men in the early hours of January 26.
     Police quoted Henschien as saying at least 10 demolition workers attacked him and held him in a headlock and destroyed his digital video camera as he was filming the incident.
