The successful 2nd Joint Nordic Golf Tournament was held during a long sunny day at Bangkok Golf Club on January 19 with a total of 86 participated golfers.
The winner of the tournament was the Swedish Embassy Team which left many contestants wondering how much time the embassy actually spends on the golf course. Lucky or talent, they sure took their share of the prizes, as stated jokingly on a website of Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
“We are lucky. We are not the best team on that day, it was the special system that they calculated the score so we become the champion,” one member of the Swedish Team Kaarlo Laakso laughed and replied.
“This year we are champion, but we were the last team the year before,” he added.
After the busy day and fierce competition, the hardworking golfers could enjoy foot-massage and especially good dinner along with Singha beer with good friends and network.
The lucky winners have got B&O Phone, golf bags from Maersk, vouchers from Admirals Pub and BNH Hospital.
