The Bangkok Flying Farangs Ice Hockey Club will be hosting its 4th annual charity golf tournament on Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at the Phoenix Golf & Country Club in Pattaya. The format will consist of a 2-player Scramble. There will be loads of food, drinks and prizes to be had throughout the day.
After golf, the banquet buffet dinner will be a beachfront extravaganza at the beautiful NORTHPOINT in Pattaya, hosted by Raimon Land, where the day’s festivities will continues on into the night.
The goal of this tournament is to raise funds for the Thai Fund Foundation (TFF) and towards the development of the sport of ice hockey in Thailand. TFF initiatives provide support to grassroots organizations working to improve health and environment in Thailand.
Net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to 2 worthy causes: Half of the net proceeds will be donated to TFF programs, which include: Stateless Children Day in Mae Hong Son Province, Improvement of Worker’s Conditions in Nonthaburi Province, Natural Resource Management in Loei Province, and Agricultural Education for Farmers in Buriram Province.
The other half of net proceeds will be used for the development of ice hockey in Thailand, with emphasis placed on encouraging Thais to learn the skills and dynamics of the sport of ice hockey.
