Vietnam’s Ha Long Shipbuilding Launches New Danish Designed Vessel

The Ha Long
Shipbuilding Company launched a 53,000-tonne ship in northern Quang Ninh
province on July 30.
    The ship,
called AP-DRZIC-HL05, is one of a series of 53,000-tonne ships that the Ha Long
Shipbuilding Company has built under a deal it signed with the UK‘s Graig
group.
    Designed by
Carl Bro from Denmark,
the ship is 190m long, 32.26m wide and 17.5m high.
    The same
day, the Ha Long Shipbuilding Company kicked off the building of the AP
DRZIC-HL06.
    It recently
launched a 12,500-tonne Hong Linh ship it built for the Bien Bac Forwarding
Company of Vinalines.
